Effective March 1, 2026: Lucas Zarlengo Joins Certification Board and Larry LaBoda Begins Second Term.

BURR RIDGE, IL – The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork, Inc. (NCBTMB) announced today that Lucas Zarlengo, BCTMB and Larry LaBoda, MBA were positively voted through by Certificants to begin their terms on the NCBTMB Certification Board as Practitioner Member and Public Member, respectively, effective March 1, 2026.

“On behalf of NCBTMB, I thank the Board Certificants for doing their due diligence by participating in the elections. We are excited to welcome Lucas to the Certification Board and to have Larry back for his second term,” said Shelly Johnson, NCBTMB Chief Executive Officer.

Zarlengo’s and LaBoda’s terms are for three years through February 28, 2029.

The NCBTMB Certification Board is responsible for all aspects of Board Certification and the Approved Provider program, as well as the strategic direction of the organization.  The Certification Board ensures that NCBTMB maintains its status as an accredited certifying body within the massage therapy profession.
