After a rigorous review, two highly qualified candidates have been selected by the NCBTMB Slate Selection Commission to join NCBTMB’s Certification Board. The Slate Selection Commission selected Lucas Zarlengo, BCTMB for the available Practitioner member position and Larry LaBoda, MBA for the available Public member position.
Lucas is a practicing massage therapist in addition to owning a global fitness service. Zarlengo is also an NCBTMB Approved Provider and was formerly an instructor and curriculum developer at massage schools and community colleges. He has been practicing since 2011.
Larry is a retired CPA and brings over 45 years of experience in public and private accounting, financial management, and investment management to the position. Larry filled a vacancy in the public member position beginning in November 2023.
All Board Certificants in good standing as of November 1, 2025, are eligible to vote. This is your opportunity to review and support the candidate with your vote.
